The Briefing. Red Hook commissioned the design of covers, jackets, and endpapers for its Phenomena collection, featuring three horror classics: Frankenstein, Dracula, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The Approach. Avoiding cliches, the collection’s covers feature symbolic flowers: from the innocent daisy to the seductive poppy and the hallucinogenic datura. These floral metaphors reflect the wild and complex nature of the characters.
